Fuji, Fireworks and Faris Wheel
Recently announced a national holiday today but, undoubtedly, I still have to work. Anyhow, at 5:20pm I finished all I needed for the day (Fuji review) so I left my desk behind and grab my gym bag.. quite exhausted and got a bit headache but managed to finish 30 mins brisk uphill walk and 15 min yoga before V called. BTW, I don't think yoga is good for me...it's relaxing -- yes...but to me it seems too slow. I need something more energatic and strenuous.
Koy, V and I went to Suan lum night around 7:30pm to find a spot for fireworks...the place was crowded and not very good spot to watch the firework after all... so we grab dinner and went up the Faris Wheel. 100 Bht each for the smooth ride...just wish we can be up there longer.
V took a few pix... will get them in this blog soon

Badminton Sunday
Badminton is one of my most favorite sport that I've been playing since I was young (and seem to do quite well) Another sport I like is Volleyball, which is kinda hard to find enough people who like to play and schedule time to play...
This Sunday Badminton thing is actually Marketing team thing. They schedule time to play together. There are about 10 of them, I think. How did I get to join them?? Well, since I know some of the people, I invited myself to play with them... and what to do with those people I didn't know? Just make friends with them... making friends is something comes quite naturally to me.
The very first few time I really suck. Been a while not playing and not getting along with people I paired with...so I tried to be entertaining instead.
This time, out of the blue, Yod seriously mentioned that I played very well :) :) :) A lot better than a few times before. Well, I'm not used to getting compliment... but I accept it with big smile on my face... ^^

Getting fittttt :)
Currently, my right hand/ arm is quite shaky...
cannot even have a good grip of a glass of water...
I just came back from playing badminton with a bunch of friends from SF-QC Marketing team.
Actually the stiff muscle isn't only my right arm, but left arm, both shoulders, upper back, upper legs and abs... I went to the gym yesterday for 3 hours with Ling+ Ling+ and Imm.
I really love this feeling of stiff muscle after working out :) :)
I've been going to the gym 3 times a week for about 2 weeks (only) but I feel the different on my body and , more importantly, on my mood!!
I've been feeling very happy, lively and energatic :)
For some reasons, I coulnd't help smiling for no specific reason..
it could be becuz of the nice people I went working out with
hu hu hu hu :)
Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.

Birthday for others

Nok and I have been Birthday buddies since the very first time we knew each other... ummm 11 years ago (this is the first time I really count it!)
My birthday was Apr 15 and Nok was Apr17.
This year we decided to do somthing nice for someone who has a lot less.... We planned to go to children home called "Baan Kru Noi" (Teacher Noi's home for children)
Nok brought sandwish ice-cream and a bunch of snack/ sweet... some clothing, and some money donated from her co-wokers.
I brought school stationary, pencil, eraser, color pencils, Drawing books, sport equipments: football, volleyball, pool ball, and some money from my co-woker as well.
The children age ranging 4 -14 years old.. there were 40 of them. They really enjoyed the ice cream. We play game with them, talk with them, eat sweets with them. Then we draw some name and gave away those balls. They love to play football and volleyball too.
Yeah, we only been there around 2 hours...seems very short, but I really hope this does make a bit difference in someone's life. I really wish thos children to grow up to be good adults.

Later in the day, I went to the gym, playing with weight machines for my shoulder, tricep and my upper legs, then there was a jazz dance class, sauna, shower... from 5:40pm I was done at 9:45pm. quite exhausted but I felt really energatc and really really great.
I did good for myself today... my body and my soul..

Oyasu minnasai
Anyway, Kao and I had quite a good conversation. Regardless of us not keeping in touch for....like 7 years...I think, we still speak the same language and being ourselves (sometimes quite too much...hohohoho) It's a good dinner...we talked for 4 hours... actually there're still more to talk but it was getting too late so we each headed home.
Got home about 30 mins after, Kao called to make sure I got home fine and say Oyasu Min na sai. He's practicing Japanese as his current prospect is a cute Jap girl :)

It's Monday March 13th
but, to me, I've been feeling like time flies by so fast!
I felt like I just celebrated New Year not long ago,
but this is mid March already -- almost 1/4 of the year 2006 already gone.
quite scary, huh?
There are still several things I wanna do but have not yet accomplished..
Hmmmm
Q House Bldg - on my way home~~~~~><~~~~~
Although things are the same as yesterday.
In time of stress like this,
it's not enough to wait but to reach out to others
So I picked up the phone and started the conversation to those people I missed
At least they should know that they have not been forgotten by me
I don't care if they might not be in a very good mood
Hopefully I could at least take their mind off from trouble
and smile for a few mins.
I have a bang now

Got sick
My dad brought me to the hospital, the doctor said that this symptom I had was due to not enought rest and gave me Amoxil for my sore throat and other cold medicine.

Amoxycillin: good medicine but stinks!
She told me the same thing as other doctors I've seen "get a lot of rest. Don't go to bed late and avoid getting stress" ho ho ho I'd love to be able to do so too...
would you do me a favor.... please tell my bosses that for me?

Some Good Dog advice!
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded,
don't buy into the guilt thing and pout...
run right back and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
Stop when you have had enough.
Be Loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

Gigabyte Friday

It's so unlikely for FP&A people not to hang out together on Friday night... somehow out of tiredness, we've been away from clubbing for quite some time... several weeks
I was originally invited (since several weeks ago) by old friend to fix Feb 17 for karaoke night with her and other friends.. turned out the team lead for the occassion had to cancel it :( I would go Salsa except none of my Salsa friends were available this Friday...so I guess I should go with my FP&A gang.. it's been a while not going out with them...
Well, I don't stay disappointed for long :) My FP&A gang were going to nung-len' and I'm always welcome..so I'm going!
For some stupid reason they didn't let Alvena in becuz she didn't bring her passport...although she did bring a valid photo id with birthdate... but they insisted to see only passport...so we move to Gigabyte on Ekamai 12 instead.
The place was quite nice! My favorite is the band!! the songs were pretty good and the place isn't too packed like lung-suan, where there wasn't even enough air to breath.
btw, Nancy lend me her brand new tank top for this occassion as I wasn't prepared for clubbing at all. Thanks Nancy!

This thing called LOVE
you're not deserve to be in love"
Emily: A Lot Like Love
Love me when I least deserve it,
because that's when I really need it.
- Swedish proverb
To write a good love letter,
you ought to begin without knowing what you mean to say
and to finish without knowing what you have written.
- Jean Jacques Rousseau
Remember that the best relationship is the one
where your love for each other is greater than your need for each other.
Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other
but in looking outward together in the same direction.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupery
“Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
[1 Corinthians 13:4-7]
"You're beautiful"
- James Blunt
..someone used to sing me this song...
it makes me smile everytime I hear it :)
Don't cry because it's over,
Smile because it happenned.

Pray for good luck in the year of dog
The place was packed with Thai-Chinese people going there to pray for good luck in the year of dog.
I went there yesterday with my bro and sis-in-law. I didn't really get a chance to take pictures as I had to hold 33 lit incense sticks in one hand and be very careful not to burn someone or get burnt by someone else :-P

Salsa night
Somehow I talked to Indria about workout at gym and do something fun like dancing for an exercise.... all of sudden, she mentioned a salsa lesson -- she can read my mind!
That was earlier this week..I've been waiting for Friday to go to Fogo Vivo for the Salsa lesson... and here I am ...

The steps weren't hard to follow...but I still couldn't make a very nice spin :P I had a lot of fun though. I was a real beginner...same as "Joe" who came for the 2nd time.
Oh I met "Jimmy", who is originally from Chicago. He has been to Thai temple on Broadway+Lawrence and knew some of my good friends there too... it's such a small world.
Talked to some of my friends and (at least) a few more people will go Salsa with me next Friday!! This is exciting :)

6.0 Meeting
First of all, I should speak s l o w e r . . . . . recollect my thoughts one at a time.
Anyway, I do love this meeting though, it's great to hear MD's sharp thoughts and questions. Love to hear smart answers as well.
Always great to be around smart people, so I can see there's still a long way for me to go ^_^
When we seek to discover the best in others,
we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.

Friday night out

It's Friday again, after a looooong hard week, we need to have some fun.
This is our first Friday night out in Y2006...
We agreed to go to Lang-suan, which is the closest to office, to chill out...have dinner... and get some drinks.
N' Ann joined us too. It's not her first time with us...but it's the first time she wanted to "have some drink"...something stronger than coke on ice ^_^
Other folks later joined us: Nutt, new FMP in FP&A, Beau, Nutt's old friend since Monach U in Melbourne and Nutt's colleague from Silicone whom I don't remember the name (sorry). MooDang, Aum, N' Joy. But Ae and Nancy couldn't come as occupied with urgent work....
Ae+ FMP, Nut, and P' Taai (tax) also joined us abit later. P' Taai got so surprised to see Ann and I dancing as she thought Ann and I must be reserved and shy type... haahh this is not the 1st time people said that to me...interesting.
Noom Sudthipon came by just in time to sing happy birthday to him with tequila shot. He turned 27 today.
